The numbers 3-3-3-3 made for a lucky Thanksgiving holiday for our Pick 4 players when they came up as the winning numbers in the evening Pick 4 drawing on Wednesday.

So congratulations to those who picked those numbers. Winners will collect a total of $6.6 million. The game’s top prize of $5,000 will go to 848 players across the state who had a $1 ticket and a $2,500 prize will go to 945 players who had a 50 cent ticket.

The prizes can be claimed at one of the lottery’s regional offices, but those offices are closed today and Friday due to the state’s observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

Winners have 180 days to claim their prizes. Due to the large number of winners, players could face extended times to complete their claims if they choose to visit a regional office on Monday or Tuesday, especially at the Raleigh or Greenville offices. Players must bring a Photo ID and proof of their Social Security number to complete their claims. Prizes can also be claimed by mail.

The big win for Pick 4 players comes just three months after the drawing of the numbers 1-1-1-1 paid out $7.5 million in prizes on Aug. 11.  So far that is the largest amount ever won in a single drawing in the Pick 4 game.

For more information on how to make a claim, go to the N.C. Education Lottery website at http://www.nc-educationlottery.org/info_how-to-claim.aspx or call Player Services at (877) 962-7529. A claims form can be downloaded from the website. The locations and addresses of the NCEL’s regional offices are:

- 2100 Yonkers Rd., Raleigh, N.C. 27604
- 16-G Regent Park Blvd., Asheville, N.C., 28806
- 5029-A West W.T. Harris Blvd., Charlotte, N.C. 28269
- Stonesthrow Crossing Shopping Center, 3711 Farmington Drive, Greensboro, N.C. 27407
- 2790 Dickinson Ave., Suite A, Greenville, N.C. 27834
- Market Station, 5215 Market St., Suite 107, Wilmington, N.C. 28403.

CONGRATS TO ALL!

Is there any way the players can see how many points the winners had that allowed them to be chosen as the winners or is this a random thing an if that is the case how would that be fair to the ones who are purchasing tickets and hoping you are doing it by the point system an not by location? Please explain that so Im clear on this.

Who won last Wednesday drawing because it has not been posted yet nor has the second one who was finally notified but no name. Also we are going on another Wednesday win before knowing who won last week. How are you guys doing this and why are you waiting so close in between times for the next winner to come out? I commend you guys on the many promotions but at times it can be hard to understand how you're contacting winners.

Any winner been notified in the 11/21st drawing?

On 11/26/2012 01:32, Lucke-Zone said

@ REDROOSTER4 - Because Wednesday Nov. 21 was the last business day before the Thanksgiving Holiday, notification for that drawing will take longer than in a normal week. Typically winners are notified by e-mail within two business days

@ PLAYER (KP) - You can learn more about Lucke Rewards by copying and pasting this link into your web browser: https://www.lucke-zone.com/rewards.aspx

@ FATSO - Please keep in mind that last Wednesday's drawing was held on the last business day before the Thanksgiving Holiday. Typically winners will be notified by e-mail within two business days of a drawing. We appreciate you taking time to share your comment with us. As time goes on, everyone will get more used to the rhythm of the drawings.

@ HUBBY - Winners are chosen at random. How many points each Lucke Zone member enters into a drawing is not public information that will be shared.

I thought winners were chose on how many entries and points they have. So how is that fair to those who are taking time to purchase numerous tickets and put countless entries in. So are you saying someone may have more points as well as entries in but since it's a random thing it would be a waste of time to continue due to Lucke Zone doing random drawings. Wow! I wish I knew that before playing. That would be a waste of time for those that are putting in the time an effort in putting in their ticket entries unless I'm wrong. Please clarify so we can be on the same page. I really like your many promotions but it should apply to the ones that are really doing the work and not by random drawings.

Congratulations to all the Quad 3 (3333) winners. i am trying to be another quad winner myself like i was in the August Quad 1 (1111). This time i am going to spend the money on myself bcause when i hit with the quad 1's in August....guess what? it was in time for my daughter to return to college and my grandkids to return to school; so therefore, u no where my money went.

After reading your response to hubby, if you all are doing a random winners I guess it doesn't matter how many drawings we put in. Is this correct?

On 11/26/2012 05:21, Lucke-Zone said

@ HUBBY - Let's be clear about this. A Lucke Zone member who has two entries in a drawing has a better chance of winning a prize than a Lucke Zone member who has one. But each ENTRY has the same chance of winning. What you're describing is not a game of chance - what you're describing is like bidding at an auction where the highest bidder wins the auction. When you enter a lottery drawing, you're entering for a chance to win.

On 11/26/2012 05:22, Lucke-Zone said

@ FATSO - The more entries a player makes into a drawing, the more chances they have to win. But someone with just one entry could win. Its the same as if you have one or ten tickets for a Carolina Cash 5 drawing; either way you have a chance to win.

Thank you, I just needed to make sure we were on the same page. Again, I am happy with all the things Lucke Zone is doing as far as promotions go.

@ HUBBY - Thanks for following-up + glad we're on the same page :-)

Are states that are giving the free powerball tickets purchasing them at the $2.00 cost?

On 11/29/2012 12:40, awilson70 said

Will you receive a message in lucke zone message center if are a winner for the drawing or just an email

On 11/30/2012 12:05, Lucke-Zone said

@ AWILSON70 - A winner in a Lucke Rewards drawing receives an e-mail, not a message in the message center.

On 11/30/2012 12:09, Lucke-Zone said

@ JAMES - The price of Powerball tickets is the same everywhere the game is played.

On 12/01/2012 11:05, jtf859 said

If a winner dose not respond to an email will a 2nd one be sent or follow up with a phone call ?

On 12/03/2012 09:25, Lucke-Zone said

@ JTF859 - If a winner does not respond to the email notification, telephone contact is attempted. If that is not successful, the lottery attempts to reach the winner by certified mail.
